About Us

Noha Mousa (b. Egypt 1981, lives in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada) received her MFA in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University (2010) and BA in Painting (2002), best known for her vibrant pop art African portraits.

Noha’s focus is mainly on portraiture and animal life, and her
pieces are all acrylic-based artworks, exhibiting a natural and organic balance
between the palette and textures used. Her work mixes the abstract with the
real, using a hybrid of current and past art movements, to create a new visual
language. Her intent is to disrupt the traditional portrait, constructing a
sense of beauty and vitality.
